We first purchase the debt from you and as partners to the Equifax credit community we are able to submit information on their indebtedness. Our leverage techniques are performed in the following ways depending on the circumstances of the debtor:

• Letter cycle, offering discounts on our default charges for early payment
• Phone calls to open negotiations on the debt
• Proposal to mediate with any dispute
• Advising of Bailiff visits to obtain information on why the debt is not paid
• Tracing of the debtor through our databases
• Litigation to force payment though court order
• Issue of charging orders against the debtor
• Issue of 3rd party or attachment of earnings order

Typically this type of debtor tries to play the system. We use our considerable experience to pre-empt the possibility of their getting away with not having to pay you. Our continous chasing over many years in some cases; ensures your debt is never forgotten about and is always foremost on your debtors mind.

Typically we request an administration fee to engage our chasing on this type of debtor. This is the only cost apart from an agreed commission on collection of the debt. Any other costs which may be incurred are only incurred after your approval of a quotation, for example direct costs such as tracing fees or litigation fees if court action were required.
