Debt Collection Agent's Debt Collection Agents' role is to collect debts. They are not authorised to Levy Distress for Rent, Road Traffic Debts, Council Tax, or Non–Domestic Rates, nor can they enforce collection of money under a High Court or County Court Order

Collection Agent's Responsibilities

Our Collection Agent's Responsibilities include having to understand the client's business and how the debt arose, understand the profile of the debt and investigate to know more about the debtor subject to the financial profile of the debtor as well as the debtor's understanding of his position.

Collection Agent's Methods

Collection Agents are out on the road, trying to open communications and talk to your debtor face to face.

They do not stop there. Official communications, texts, telephone calls, social media examination and door-knocking are all part of our arsenal of communication to persuade the debtor that the easiest and least financially-painful way to proceed is to settle the debt.

Often negotiation cannot succeed over the phone or by letter and the only opportunity is to talk directly with the debtor.

Although our collection Agents have no authority to enforce the collection of a debt, face-to- face negotiations and explanation to the debtor of the importance to the debtor himself of paying his debts promptly and the repercussions otherwise for his credit score and ability to borrow can sometimes produce the favourable result needed by the creditor i.e. payment of the debt.
